WELCOME to the WASHINGTON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ALLIANCE™ A 501(c)(3) organization
Facilitating the creation, protection, education and enablement of intellectual property for the State of Washington
GOVERNOR INSLEE HAS DECLARED OCTOBER 2024 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY MONTH
OUR MISSION
Innovation and intellectual property (IP) protection are critical assets that drive robust economic growth and improve social well-being in the United States. And issues positively and negatively impacting IP are global, national and local. To address these challenges a new voice is needed to ensure improved creation, protection, and enablement of intellectual property in Washington.

The mission of the Washington IP Alliance (WAIPA) is to serve as a connecting hub for local and regional organizations, fostering an effective ecosystem and marketplace to facilitate the creation, protection, and enablement of intellectual property. This connecting hub will encourage innovation for the economic and social well-being of Washington citizens. The Alliance will be a founding chapter to the United States Intellectual Property Alliance (USIPA).
WAIPA and the Intellectual Property Organization (IPO) presents the 2025 Corporate IP Roundtable featuring HP’s Chief IP Counsel, Ceyda Maisami. Ceyda has ascended into the role of Chief IP counsel over the last 12 years and currently leads the patent group at HP.
The Corporate IP Roundtable’s fireside chat format will allow our registered participants to gain insights to her personal development as an IP practitioner and hear her legal and business commentary on various topics. Live Q&A will follow.
The 2025 Corporate IP Roundtable builds upon the traditions established by the Georgia IP Alliance in 2006. The 2025 Corporate IP Roundtable will feature hundreds of participants representing global companies, private practitioners, and academics throughout the world. Registered guests may have the opportunity to attend in-person viewing events and networking sessions.
